Recent decoration

Just before the Summer of 2019 the interior of St John’s was beautifully redecorated. The Parish team lovingly removed all objects and statues, including the heavy crucifix suspended from the ceiling above the Sanctuary in preparation for the work. Every piece was cleaned ready to be returned once work was completed. A fleur de lis motif was painted around the main archway - a reminder of Pugin's original design.
